Manchester United are ready to make a move for FC Barcelona forward Pedro Rodriguez, according to the Catalan radio station RAC1.

The English club will try to sign the Canary Islander from Barcelona if Di Maria will be sold in the coming days. Their first official bid is expected to be around €15 million, but they are willing to pay the €30 million release clause for the 27-year-old Barcelona forward.

According to the same source, Pedro would only leave this summer to join Manchester United and he would stay only until the next summer if he doesn't leave now.

The Spanish international isn't satisfied with his lack of playing time at Barcelona, starting only 15 La Liga games in the last season, the lowest number since his promotion to the first team in 2009. Pedro's release clause was lowered to €30 million after he recently signed his new contract with Barcelona.
