Six more players who had been suspended by FIFA allowed to play again

Labinot Kabashi, Imad el Kabbou, Anssumane Fati of Cadete B and Xavi Simons can play football again

On Monday, FC Barcelona received the authorization from FIFA that allows four of the La Masia kids that had been suspended at the start of the September to play again in official games for the club. FIFA had asked for documents to evaluate the way in which these players had ended up at Barça even though none of their signings had been against its regulations. The players in question were Labinot Kabashi and Imad el Kabbou of Cadete A, Anssumane Fati of Cadete B and Xavi Simons of Infantil B. This was the second good news the club had received from FIFA after two of the suspended kids were allowed to play at the end of September.

On Wednesday morning, the club received more good news in the form of clearances to play for Erick of Juvenil B and Konrad de la Fuente of Cadete B. That means that all the eight Football-11 players that had been suspended at the start of the season are now allowed to play.

That same day the club released a statement saying that “of the eleven licenses that have been under review in recent months, just two have yet to be resolved,” with two of the three Football-7 players still being suspended. The names of these three players were never made public, probably because they are very young. One of the players who are still suspended is in the alevín age group and the other one is in the benjamín group.
