Sergi Roberto gets the medical green light to play against Málaga

The Catalan footballer trained with normality and assures he does not feel any discomfort

Sergi Roberto will be available this Saturday for the Spanish league match against Málaga at the Camp Nou. The La Masía graduate missed his national team’s two latest matches versus Macedonia and the friendly facing England, in order to fully recover from his Achilles tendons troubles.

The polyvalent footballer was able to return to Barça’s trainings with his teammates on this Thursday morning session and showed no signs of discomfort or pain, bringing the much needed good news to the medical staff and Luis Enrique, alongside the recoveries of Gerard Piqué, Jordi Alba and Jérémy Mathieu for the upcoming La Liga game.

It is worth noting the peculiar situation in the team’s right-back position where Sergi Roberto has been used almost exclusively this season, given Aleix Vidal’s exclusion from Luis Enrique’s plans and his likely exit on the next winter transfer window.

Andrés Iniesta speeds up his recovery for El Clásico

Andrés Iniesta purpose is to be ready for the next match against archrivals Real Madrid on December, 3rd. The team’s captain knows this will not be an easy task and works everyday towards his ambitious goal. The Manchego published an optimistic picture on his Twitter account showing “one more step” on the way to his recovery for the first El Clásico of the season.
