Marc Bartra joins Borussia Dortmund
The defender leaves the Catalan giants looking for more playing time on the German side
Marc Bartra leaves and will join Borussia Dortmund.
The centre back decided to join the German club instead of continuing as a backup player.
Bartra struggled to gain a starting position in Luis Enrique's line up, which has prompted the 25-year old to leave the Camp Nou. The centre back joins Bundesliga runners-up with a 5-year contract for a fee of eight million euros.
Marc came through La Masia, joining the club at the age of 11 and since then scored a few goals for Luis Enrique's men. He leaves after playing 108 official games for the Catalan club but has decided to leave his long-time team in search of playing regularly under Thomas Tuchel.
Marc Bartra has been called up for Spain's squad for Euro 2016 but has been given permission for a break to formalise his signing for Dortmund.
