FC Bayern is Barça's opponent in the CL semifinals

Today the draw for the Champions League semifinals was made. FC Barcelona was the first one out of the bowl, meaning that Barça plays the first leg of the tie at home, and the second ball drawn was FC Bayern.

Barcelona and Bayern have met three times before in the knock-out stages of European competitions, with the blaugrana club advancing just once, in the quarterfinals of the 2008/2009 Champions League.

The most recent meeting between the two teams was in 2013, with Barça losing both the away (0-4) and the home game (0-3).

Barcelona's top scorer against Bayern is Lionel Messi with two goals.
