Dembélé wants to leave Barcelona in January
A new report suggests the Frenchman could be on his way out in 2019.
The buzz around Ousmane Dembélé continues even after yet another crucial goal in the last weekend against Atlético Madrid. According to Goal, the Frenchman wants to leave Barcelona as soon as January 2019 after failing to adapt to the club, receiving numerous attacks from the media and criticism from his own teammates.
Dembélé joined for €105m and selling him now would force Barcelona to pay €40m in add-ons to his former club Borussia Dortmund due to one of the clauses included in the deal that made his signing possible in August 2017.
There's no doubt he's a once in a generation kind of talent, club, player, teammates and his coach all should work together to ensure he continues in Barcelona and fulfills his amazing potential.
