Barcelona considering to bring back Juan Mata to Spain

The Spaniard has been linked with Barça and could be one of the club's additions next Summer

With the winter transfer window closed, and the rejection of Celta de Vigo’s Nolito, the Catalan club are still on the hunt to sign a player and Manchester United midfielder, Juan Mata might be the one. According to the Daily Mail, the club has started talks with the Spaniard.

Juan Mata’s creative playing style could be of great service to Lucho’s team; however, with the likes of Iniesta, Rakitic and the newly signed Arda Turan who are all in excellent form, the 27 year old might not be given enough playing time to show off his talent on the pitch.

Yet, if Man United do agree to let go of their their playmaker, Mata will be set for a homecoming back to Spain. However, Guillem Balague thinks otherwise. “Rubbish story of the day: the rumours about Mata. He is staying put, doesn't want to go, Manchester United don't want to sell at all.”

But if the Spaniard ultimately makes a deal with the Blaugranas, he must improve in order to show his worth to Enrique as he will be competing for a starting position against phenomenal footballers.
