Reportedly Neymar has to pay 45 million euros for alleged tax fraud
More offpitch concerns for the Brazilian starlet and Blaugrana attacker
Yesterday has brought even more offpitch concerns for the Brazilian starlet and Blaugrana attacker Neymar. The Rio de Janeiro tax office has allegedly declared the Neymar culpable of supposed tax evasion – according to ‘La Folha de Sao Paulo’.
Neymar will have to pay 45 million euros (188.8 million Brazilian real) to make up for the taxes which, according to the tax office, the reports say, he has not previously paid. The current Brazilian captain is therefore accused of tax evasion, fraud and collusion by the tax office. They consider that he failed to pay tax on money earned with Santos, Barça and also through sponsorship deals with Nike.
According to the ’La Folha de Sao Paulo’, the 24-year-old Blaugrana attacker yet has the chance to appeal the decision.
