Tests performed on Saturday morning by Barça's medical team revealed that Jordi Alba has a grade 1 injury to the abductor muscle in his right leg. This hamstring injury means he will be out of action for approximately ten days, missing the Celta game and is doubtful for the ensuing Almeria game.

The full-back felt pain while playing for Spain on Friday, March 28, against Ukraine in a Euro 2016 qualifier and he was substituted in the 76th minute.
