Hector Bellerin still on Barcelona's sights this summer

The club won't give up easily on the right back as his family returns to Catalonia

As the summer transfer window continues, FC Barcelona is looking to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season with Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin on top of the Catalan club’s list. Barca’s new head boss Ernesto Valverde has his eyes on several players and Bellerin seems to be his top priority.

The 22-year old began his career in the youth teams of Barcelona before he moved to Arsenal in the summer of 2011. Since his departure from Camp Nou, he has made a name for himself under Arsene Wenger, gaining interest from several elite clubs.

Barça have struggled with the right-back position after Dani Alves’ move to Juventus, which has Valverde very keen on signing the Premier League player. According to reports, Arsenal is pulling all their strings to keep the youngster at Emirates, but Bellerin is allegedly on the verge of finding a deal with the Blaugranas. The Spanish international has also dropped a handful of hints after expressing his wishes of returning back to Catalonia.
