FC Barcelona did announce the agreement with Betfair as the new main global sponsor. Betfair is an online-betting company. The contract with the company which started on the July 1, 2016, will last for three years until 2019. As of now the club yet has to communicate the economic details of the contract.

The club did just explain that they would work with Betfair in several areas like the rights of image association, the visibility at the Camp Nou as well as other digital actions. Additionaly Betfair will be granted access to the players to create promotional content and marketing campaigns.
