Barcelona will continue to work on signing Mauricio Lemos in the coming weeks
The Uruguayan centre back is one of the club's options for the back line this summer
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona will continue to pursue the signing of Las Palmas centre back Mauricio Lemos (20) in the coming weeks after the Spanish Cup final. The outlet Canarias7 confirmed the club submitted a small bid of €4m plus €8m in bonuses that was promptly turned down by Las Palmas, who demand his €30m clause to be paid in full.
Barça plans to make another offer and the player's agent will meet with the directors from the Gran Canaria club to discuss his clients future. Mundo Deportivo claims they're seeking at least €10m upfront for the former Rubin Kazan man and are frustrated the Catalan club's interest is getting in the way of securing a contract renewal until 2021.
