It’s a well-known fact that Barça need reinforcements and are potentially looking to bring in a player in the January transfer window. One player that was briefly mentioned in the summer transfer window was Leon Goretzka.

The 22 year old German international is an interesting prospect for the Blaugranas and Barcelona representatives attended the FSV Mainz v Schalke 04 game to, of course, watch Goretzka where he grabbed a goal in Schalke’s 0-2 win.

Although, Schalke has informed Barça that they’re not interested in selling Leon in January, and he will be free to sign with any club when he contract runs out when the season’s over. European giant Bayern Munich are also interested in the German.
