We recently told you how Barça’s Alevín A clinched their league title. Well, the trophies just keep on coming to Barcelona’s cantera.
The Cadete B boys beat Vilanova by an astounding 5-0 result Saturday morning, and with Reus’ loss later that day, they mathematically clinched the Preferente League championship with five rounds left to be played.
One player stood out from the rest for Barça: Dzhoskhun Temenuzhkov Mihaylov, better known to his teammates as “Kun”, scored a marvelous hat-trick. He opened the scoring in the first half and grabbed two more in the second half. An own goal by the Vilanova squad and a fifth goal from Barcelona’s Albert Portas completed the decisive victory.
Cadete B, managed by Cristian Catena, won the league with 67 points from 22 wins, one draw and just two losses while scoring 107 goals and conceding only 21.
